Nose deep in a new book with a Glenarm Shorthorn tomahawk steak from the charming @meatpeter and the first batch of triple-cooked cheesy chips with Old Amsterdam cheese.

I may have gone 98% beige, but I don’t give a hoot. I have my nose in a new book and this is pure joy: roast potatoes with bacon, Epoisses and Morbier cheese.
I’ve notified my arteries in advance.
This week’s FridayFeast gets cracking with a dry-cured smoked bacon chop from @meatpeter glazed with Tiptree Tawny Orange marmalade.
The sauce is tomato, fennel, smoked garlic and butter beans. I drastically reduced my carb intake this week, but frankly, it’s a bank holiday weekend, so I’ve lobbed in some baby potatoes, too.
